Overview Typed letter from C.D. Spivak to Joseph Klein informing him that Frank Schneiderman was invited for admission to the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society. Spivak reminds Klein that the sanatorium has a waiting list of seventy poor men and women wanting to be admitted, but the sanatorium "squeezed its concscience" and admitted Schneiderman because he is penniless. Spivak trusts that Schneiderman's stay at JCRS will be beneficial for his health. He signs the letter "Secretary" at the bottom.

Klein tells Spivak that he delayed answering his previous letter because he wanted to meet with the executive board before responding. Klein regrets to inform Spivak that Scheiderman was suspended from Pennsylvania Lodge #2 for the “non-payment of his dues and assessments.” Klein informs Spivak that Schneiderman also joined another lodge and refers Spivak to Mr. N.B....

Overview Typed letter from the grand secretary of the U.S. Grand Lodge Independent Order Sons of Jacob, Joseph Klein to JCRS. He tells JCRS that member, Frank Schneiderman of the Pennsylvania Lodge #2 is sick. He tells JCRS that at the lodge’s last convention a provision was made to donate a sum of money to JCRS in January; therefore, Klein is recommending that JCRS admit Schneiderman to be taken care of. The letter is signed, “Joseph Klein” at the bottom.
