Overview Typed "Day Letter" sent through the Western Union Telegraph Company from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to N. Zeretzky in New York City, New York informs that Zeretzky's wife, Rose Zeretzky, died. Requests N. Zeretzky wire burial instructions and informs the cost of shipping her body to New York would cost $150. Spivak informs that if he does not hear from Zeretzky within 24 hours, Rose's body will be buried in Denver. Letter is unsigned but "C D Spivak, Sec" is typed at the bottom.

Informs that Zeretzky is buried in "block #2, #203" and reports cost of hearse as $6.00, grave $10.50, for digging $3.00, undertaker $5.50, Bal Misaskim 2 men and 2 ladies $4.50, Tachrichem $3.00. The total at the bottom of the receipt is a cost of $32.50. At the bottom of the page, a typed note reads "N Zeretzky refused payment on telegram charges $1.13."
