Abstract
Saul Caston (1901-1970) was a renowned musician and conductor, and is credited with building the Denver Symphony Orchestra (now Colorado Symphony Orchestra) into an outstanding professional orchestra worthy of national recognition. After moving to Colorado from his home in Pennsylvania, Caston became the Musical and Conductor of the Denver Symphony in 1945, and held the position until 1964.
