Deborah Howard is an Associate Professor and Head of Painting Program at the University of Denver. She has been teaching at the University of Denver since 1987. She holds and BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in drawing and printmaking and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in painting and printmaking.

Overview Framed drawing of two individuals lying on the ground, draped over one another. Print is done in sepia tones. Inscription at the bottom "Grandpa & Grandma, with all my love, Debbie 12/26/73." Drawing was originally a gift from the artist to her grandparents. It was done after her first trip to the Holocaust Museum in Israel when the artist was in high school.
