Denver Post Obit: NIBLOCK, ANNE D. Anne D. Niblock died in her sleep on March 7th. She was born January 28, 1910, to Victor and Carrie Toffler in New York City, NY. In 1947, Anne came to Denver. She began her higher education at The University of Denver graduating with a Masters Degree. After graduating, she started her career in teaching with DPS as a Special Education teacher at National Jewish Hospital. She had a one room school to teach students of all grades from kindergarten to high school. She retired from teaching in 1975. Anne married Frederick Niblock in 1960 and they shared a very loving marriage for 29 years. She is survived by her two step sons, Richard B. Niblock and Charles F. Niblock, her grandchildren Dr. Sarah Nordquist, Ross, Kirk, Ed, and John Niblock. She is also survived by her niece Jill Melmed-Buzzeo and nephew Victor Cohen; grandnieces Fran, Carey, Sarah and Rachel. Anne had a loving heart for all those she touched. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Abstract

Anne talks about coming to Denver to finish her degree at the University of Denver and started working for National Jewish Hospital as the only teacher for the students grades 1-7, all the children were patients at the Hospital, she functioned as a teacher, foster mother, counselor; associated with the Denver Public School System.
