Perlmutter, Jordon
Biography
Jordon Perlmutter was born in 1931 to immigrant parents and died in Denver on December 7, 2015. He was a Denver builder, real estate developer, and property manager. In 1951, he founded Perl-Mack Enterprises with his cousin Sam Primack. Perl Mack introduced the concept of planned communities in Denver in Northglenn, Southglenn and Montbello. In the 1983 Perl-Mack was dissolved and Jordon and his eldest son Jay founded Perlmutter and Company. Jordon Perlmutter was a trustee of the University of Denver for 15 years. He married Essie Lou Goldberg in 1953. Both Jordon and Essie grew up on Denver's west side and both served on many boards of directors.

Box contains two scrapbooks and loose pages with photographs, event materials, clippings, and business articles. There is also a folder with two posters, one of an enlargement of a page from West's "Rodeo" Athlete of the week article and a poster of the John F. Kennedy Peace Forest in Israel.
