Lewitt informs Spivak that Herman Berkowitz is a highly respected member of the community and the JCRS hospital. Lewitt asks Spivak to make Berkowitz feel at home so that he can get the treatment he needs from tuberculosis. Lewitt informs Spivak that Herman Berkowitz is in Denver, Colorado to improve his health and he wrote to them telling them that after being examined he was told that he should be admitted to JCRS. Lewitt then asks Spivak to admit Berkowitz in the sanatorium as soon as he can. He signs the letter along with ten other signatures.
