Bernstein has tuberculosis, and Dr. Landman, thinks that Denver is the place for him. He denies the claims of wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Bernstein, who has been accused of swindling money from foreigners. He writes that Mr. Bernstein has not done these things and can return to Lawrence, MA, where his family resides at any time. Letter is signed and dated.
