Altman, Gerald



Sam Ross bought Nicoll Brothers Oil Company with Gerald Altman in 1950. They were sales distributors for Skelly Oil and the company became one of the largest petroleum jobbers west of the Mississippi. Sam Ross' daughter Barbara married Gerald Altman. Sam's son Mike Ross began working for the company at age 13.
