Biography

Marlene Zinn Connors was born to the Zinn/Rosenfield family in Denver in 1947. She attended college in Washington, DC, lived in New Haven, and had a career in New York City. With her husband, Jim Connors, left New York in 1992 to travel. The couple traveled to over 65 countries and 50 states. They then settled in the center of Washington, DC where Marlene resumed her social justice involvement. Discovering her Great Great Grandfather Moishe, led to a decade of researching her Zinn family roots and to her self-published book "Welcome Moishe, A Story of the Moishe and Ruchel Zinn Family in America."
