Mislov, Esther, 1914-

Esther Mislov was a patient at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society in 1946 and patient record number 12170. She was born in Boyrka, Russia on July 3, 1914 came to the United States in 1924. She contracted tuberculosis in Brooklyn, New York and arrived in Denver, Colorado for treatment May 1946. She left against doctor's orders in December 1946.

Overview Pink Dolby-print tea or kitchen towels embroidered four inches from bottom of one end. The embroidery consists of three colors: dark pink, light pink and burgundy in a semi-Southwestern motif. The top and bottom of towels have three-quarter inches of pink fringe. The towels were embroidered by Esther Mislov for occupational therapy during her stay at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS) in 1946.
