Abstract Davis Willett Moore was born in in Atlanta, Georgia in 1911 and died in Denver in 1997. Moore attended the University of Colorado and graduated from Yale University in 1932. Moore worked for First National Bank of Denver and retired in 1968 as executive senior vice president and during World War II he served as lieutenant commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve in Washington D.C. Moore was a philanthropist who gave gifts to the Denver Art Museum, and was involved in the Denver Public...
