H. David Spivak was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1893 and died in Denver November 23, 1932. His parents were Dr. Charles Spivak and Jennie Charsky Spivak. David Spivak attented The Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Denver. He was the Co-founder and president of the Denver Artists Guild.

Abstract Haim David Spivak (1893-1932) was the son of Dr. Charles D. Spivak, a founder of the JCRS. David Spivak was an artist who painted portraits and landscapes and was one of three co-founders of the Denver Artists Guild. The file contains information on Haim David Spivak, copies of a bookplate he designed for his father, a catalog of his paintings (1914-1932), and correspondence, aboutf his "Ten Commandments" painting.
