Biography

H. David Spivak was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1893 and died in Denver November 23, 1932. His parents were Dr. Charles Spivak and Jennie Charsky Spivak. David Spivak attented The Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Denver. He was the Co-founder and president of the Denver Artists Guild. According to his diary, David also attended the National Academy of Design and the Commercial School of Art.
