Biography

Charlotte Gorden was the wife of Jacob Gorden, who followed her husband from Russia to Denver. With other members of the Beth David Sisterhood, she founded a Hebrew school which merged and became the Hebrew Educational Alliance. She was the mother of three girls and one boy. Charlotte Gorden was born in Russia in 1890 and died in Denver on February 12, 1960.
