Biography
Anna Ginsberg Hayutin was the mother of Peryle Hayutin Beck, one of the namesakes for the Peryle Hayutin and Ira M. Beck Memorial Archives. She was born in New York City on November 13, 1893 and died in Denver, Colorado in July 1973.

Beige Straw Hat with Velvet Ribbon and Tulle, between 1920-1940
A woman's large brimmed, wire-framed straw hat trimmed with black velvet ribbon at the base of the crown and at the edge and center of the brim. Four square cuts of black organdy are steamed into floral shapes and mounted across the front of the hat. The hat is lined with black grosgrain ribbon inside and two attached interior labels read: ''22; M.S.ca.'' and ''The May Co; Denver''.
Black Felt Hat with Feathers, circa 1958
This is a formal hat that consists of a black tri-cornered felt form covered with white, pastel blue, pink and green feathers that are glued into place. A layer of tulle covers the hat and additional tulle is gathered at center back.
Black Hat with Black Satin Bow, circa 1951
A small black ''manmade straw'' woman's hat with satin ribbon trimming the edge and large bows featured in the back. The ''party tulle'' is decorated with multi-colored pieces of pipe cleaner. The hatpin is a bulb shaped tip of gray cotton knit. Inside the hat are two white labels that read: ''Kay's modes millinery; 614 16th St.; Denver, COLO'' and ''Milgrim''.
Black Plasticized ''Straw'' Hat with Gray and Black Plaid Ribbon, between 1920-1940
A black plasticized ''straw'' hat with black mesh and plaid box. The mesh is used ornamentally with steamed flat loops that are around three-quarters of the hat. Gray and black plaid plasticized ribbon is formed with stiff tulle in tucks to form bows around the brim of the hat.
Brown Felt Hat with Silk Ribbon and Bow, circa 1950
A caramel brown felt sailor hat with a circular wire brim. On the outside of the brim, there is a brown velvet ribbon, and the front has a small brown velvet bow. The inside of the hat is stamped with a white crest with a lion; inside and around the crest reads: ''fur felt body by Mallory''. Inside the brim is brown grosgrain ribbon with a label affixed reading: ''Kate Ferretti Denver''.

Navy Blue Plastic Hat with Plaid Polyester Ribbon, circa 1960
A navy blue circular plastic ''straw'' hat that was meant to be worn on the back of the crown of the head. Four plaid taffeta bows in blue, navy, red and yellow surround three-quarters of the brim. The inside of the hat has plum colored grosgrain ribbon and black plasticized ''horsehair'' for pinning the hat to the head. The interior label reads: ''Milgrim.''
Purple Velvet Hat, circa 1956
The hat features a circular center with petal shapes going outward. The entire outside of the hat is purple velvet that is wired at the edge and has been manipulated into a shape referred to as ''wired wings''. The inside has light blue taffeta over buckram and a light blue grosgrain ribbon hat band. The interior label reads: ''Kate Ferretti Denver''. From the top view, the hat is meant to resemble a daisy.
