Biography

Anna Ginsberg Hayutin was the mother of Peryle Hayutin Beck, one of the namesakes for the Peryle Hayutin and Ira M. Beck Memorial Archives. She was born in New York City on November 13, 1893 and died in Denver, Colorado in July 1973.

Abstract This is a small circular, wire-brimmed fuchsia day hat with ribbon trimming the brim and forming an attached bow. White, light blue, medium blue and pink dyed feathers are glued to the front brim. The veil is a large open square weave of pink tulle with flocking dyed pink and is geometrically arranged on the tulle. The inside center back of the hat has black monofilament tulle with four bobby pins used to secure the hat to the wearer's head. Interior label reads: ''Seven-Eleven Fifth Avenue;...

Abstract

Pink, purple and blue flowers embroidered on a white cotton tablecloth. A blue border is also embroidered, along with two butterflies. The tablecloth is trimmed in pink and white lace and is part of a embroidered bedroom linen set. It was handmade by Anna F. Ginsberg Hayutin and probably used on top of a nightstand or dresser.

Purple and white pansies with green leaves embroidered on the entire border of a square silk chiffon handkerchief. A small flower design is embroidered throughout the center of the handkerchief.This handkerchief was handmade by Anna F. Ginsberg Hayutin.
