Biography

Sam L. Huddleston (1914-2007) moved to Denver, Colorado in September 1949. His wife and his two sons joined him in the University Park area in December 1950. A graduate of the University of Illinois, and a veteran of World War II, Huddleston worked for the National Park Service as a landscape architect in Mississippi prior to moving to Colorado. Huddleston purchased an existing landscape architecture practice in Denver, retiring from the company in 1983.
