Biography

Juanita R. Johnson moved to the University Park area of Denver, Colorado in 1960. She grew up in her grandfather's house in Denver and enrolled in the University of Denver (DU) in 1941 when it was known as Tramway Tech. Johnson minored in education and did her student observation at University Park Elementary School before her graduation from DU in 1945. Her husband, a World War II veteran, received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Denver.
