Biography
Silas Kobey (b. April 16, 1904, Aspen, Colorado; m. Rosalie June Golin, December 28, 1941; d. December 29, 1991, Denver, Colorado) was the son of Harris and Leah Sheffel Kobey, and brother of Dorothy "Dokes" Kobey Berry. He was also a brother of Rebecca (Becky), Ruth Sara, Philip (Phil), and Leon (Lee) and Joseph Kobey, and a cousin of Nathan Kobey.

Nathan Kobey was the son of Benjamin and Hattie Reiss Kobey, as well as a cousin of Dorothy and Silas Kobey. Dorothy was the valedictorian of the 1923 graduating class at Aspen High School in Aspen, Colorado.
