Abstract

The Student Protests Collection is a collection of materials related to student protests, whether against the University, as in the case of a tuition protest, or American policies, as in the case of Woodstock West and anti-draft demonstrations. Abstract

University of Denver (DU) protesters on stage with John Wesley Rice, Assitant Dean to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Chancellor Maurice Mitchell as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the DU campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
