Abstract A tefillin (phylactery) for the hand consisting of a black leather box with a brown leather strap. This view shows the orange sticker on the top of the box with ''shel yad'' (for the hand). The leather boxes are those which Jewish men from the age of 13 bind with leather straps on the crest of their foreheads during the morning prayers.
