Morris, Ernest, 1874-1937

Biography

Ernest Morris was born in Thorn, Germany and came to the United States as a child. He graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in philosophy and law. He served terms as president in the early 1900s of B'nai B'rith Denver, the Colorado Philosophical Society, Denver Bar Association, and the Colorado Historical Association from 1932 through 1937. He was also a member of the Board of trustees of the National Jewish Hospital. He died in Denver in January 1937.
