Marie [Maria] Lilli Margarete Bätge, b. Tallinn, m. Herr Steinberg, had one daughter, Karin M. Steinberg; then m. Dr. Max Israel Löwenstein (later Max Israel Loewenstein) in 1925; their son Ernst Heinrich Löwenstein (later Henry Lowenstein) b. Overview Two newspaper articles about Maria Lowenstein's one woman show in 1971 at the Gallery of the United Bank of Denver Lobby. The Rocky Mountain News article features a picture of Maria standing with one of her paintings and another image of a painting below. Articles both give very brief biographical infomation and mention her cureent work is all done in acrylic and focues on her recent travels. the articles are mounted on a piece of cardboard.
