Abstract

Box conatins two (2) three-ring binders and several bound reports. The three-ring binders are titled "Community Needs Assessment, April 2006 to March 2008" and "The Denver Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation;" smaller binder contains articles of incorporation, Tax Exempt Certificates, Bylaws, and various communications with the national organization, 1992 - 1995. Bound reports are of various titles; most are "Denver Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Publicity Reports;" dates for these include October 2005 - December 2005, February 2006 - December 2006, January 2007 - May 2007, April 2007 - August 2007, June and July 2008, August 2008, and October - December 2008. Also included are the 1998 Needs Assessment Report, and the 2004 Community Profile Report.

The collection consists of the records of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Denver Metropolitan Affiliate and contains reports, correspondence, publications, and various other papers pertaining to both the local Denver, Colorado affiliate and the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. There are materials specifically related to the Denver Race for the Cure, includung T-shirts, hats, and posters. The collection also contains photographs and scrapbooks, and various audio/visual materials.
