Folder contains eighteen (18) files pertaining to CCOHA Apprentice Artists from the 1980 festival season. Files contain biographical information, application materials, publicity photographs, concert programs, and other information pertaining to; Bruce Brys, Stephen Colantti, Richard Cowan, Elena Gambulos, Joyce Guyer-Hiller, Mark Jackson, William Mitchell, David Neal, Nicholas Netos, Scott Neumann, Jane Olian, Cindy C. Oxberry, Jerold Pope, Laura Brooks Rice, kim Scown, Karen Smith, Garth Taylor, and Lynn Yakes.

Apprentice artists participate in daily opera training in diction, movement, stage combat, acting, stage technique, individual coaching and role study; and sessions in career management with rehearsals and opera performance opportunities in the summer’s main stage and additional festival productions.

They have the opportunity to perform in ensemble and chorus roles, and smaller productions put on by the CCOH throughout the festival season.
