Abstract

Depiction of Je Sig, or Je Tsongkhapa, realized in the Thangka style of painting from the Thangde Gatsal Collection on Thangka Buddhist Art. This is a complete view of Je Tsongkhapa sitting in the center on a dais encirled in a rainbow border. At the top of the image are two clouds with people gathered on them. At the bottom left corner of the image is Mahakala, Avalokiteshvara, protector deity, with blue skin and surrounded by flames. In the right lower corner is a man in robes.
