Letter from C.D Spivak to Miss Annie Strube, 1909 January 23
Typed letter from C.D Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Miss Annie Strube in Atlanta, Georgia. Letter states that Annie's father, Conrad Strube, was admitted to the sanitorium of JCRS on September 15th and passed away on October 17th. C.D Spivak states that an attempt was made to contact Miss Annie Strube at the address given by her father but the telegram was returned. Letter states that in the possession of JCRS are two bank books, one of whice has a credit of about $190.00 and requests Miss Strube to send them a Power of Attorney so that they may obtain the money, from which they will be deducting $50.00 for the board and treatment of her late father. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
