Handwritten two-page note in ink entitled "Emergency," written across the top and underlined. Written beneath this reads "Rittenberg, Sochin, Mrs. Brofman, Sofer, [illegible] Cohen, [name illegible as it had been crossed out], B Schwartz (?) [name crossed out in pencil], Minnie Rosenblatt, Skoss 10/10, Bernthal 10/6." An additional note at the bottom of the page reads "4 vacancies{ 2 upstairs, 2 in tents." On the back is note entitled "Goldfield's People" and underlined. Below reads "Mrs. G. Goldfield (mother) 54 Warner, Hartford Conn., S. Cohen (cousin) 446 Windsor Ave, S. Wachniavsky (cousin)." Above the title reads "2352 [illegible]."

Scope and Contents

From the Series: This series of patient records includes medical reports and histories, statistical data of patients, x-rays, and death certificates. The patient files include applications, correspondence and some may also contain photographs and personal items.

Inscriptions and Marks

On the note are additional notes in pencil. Written and circled, with an arrow pointing to Skoss and Rosenthal reads "Took tuberculosis test." Above Skoss is a note in pencil which reads "[turn] up." To the right of Berthal reads "no tb." Written and circled below Bernthal reads "turn up 9/20, pneumonia with bad arm." Written and circled with an arrow pointing to Sofer reads "very sick."
