Abstract
Blue china plate with the New York Building in middle and other buildings around rim. Blue lettering on back of plate about JCRS. The plate was made by the Kettlesprings Kiln, Alliance, Ohio.

Biographical / Historical
On the front of the china plate in the center is a design showing the ''Tower of Hope.'' Around the edge of the front side are depictions of the dining hall, medical building, dairy, house of prayer, the Texas building, and the recreation center. On the bottom of the front edge is ''J.C.R.S. Hospital and Sanatorium, Spivak, Colorado.'' On the bottom of the plate: ''Since 1904 we have helped thousands of unfortunate people afflicted with tuberculosis fight their way back to health, to happiness...to life itself. Now we have expanded our medical program to include other chest diseases. Our patients receive, absolutely free, the most advanced scientific and expert medical treatment and rehabilitation service. National, Non-Sectarian, Free.'' Below this paragraph ''Kettlesprings Inc....R.D.2, Alliance, Ohio.''

Scope and Contents
This series includes religious, medical, printing, administrative, trophies, and other types of objects used at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society. Examples of objects are Torah scrolls, embroidered towels made by a patient, a Hebrew Corona typewriter, printing cases and type, and a chess trophy.
