Letter from Mrs. Mary Newman to Dr. C.D Spivak, 1908 July 6

Identifier: B002.01.0100.0012.00032

Handwritten two-page letter in ink from Mrs. Mary Newman in Hartford, Connecticut, to Dr. C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado, requesting that he help their Rabbi's son, Raphael Hoffenberg, to get a tent as soon as possible and that he surely couldn't do as great of a favor than helping this young man. Letter states that if help is quickly given, then their rabbi will surely speak of the good they are all doing and a speech from the Rabbi in one of their synagogues will stir up the Hartford people to help along the Society of Denver. Letter is signed Mrs. Mary Newman.
