Letter from Mrs. Mary Newman to Dr. C.D. Spivak, 1908 June 21
Handwritten two-page letter from Mrs. Mary Newman to Dr. C.D Spivak thanking him for his kindness in letting them know that he will look after Raphael Hoffenberg, the son of their worthy Rabbi of Hartford, and trusts that he will take the best care of him. Letter states that their Rabbi feels very badly about his son and so does the city of Hartford, who only know the young man. Letter once again thanks Dr. Spivak for his kindness and is signed Mrs. Mary Newman.
