Letter from Mrs. Betty Katzman and Mrs. Mary Newman to Dr. C.D. Spivak, 1908 June 15
Handwritten three-page letter from Mrs. Betty Katzman and Mrs. Mary Newman in Hartford, Connecticut, to Dr. C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado, stating that in regards to their Rabbi's son, that life is in an awful condition at present and that they do not know whether to send him to Denver or not, as they had not received a reply to their last letter. Letter requests an answer whether or not Dr. Spivak has room for him there and asks if they can send him. They state that they trust that Raphael Hoffenberg may be helped as much as some of the others who have had the opportunities to be in so good of a place and thank Dr. Spivak in advance for a very quick reply. Letter is signed Mrs. Betty Katzman and Mrs. Mary Newman.

Scope and Contents
From the Series: This series of patient records includes medical reports and histories, statistical data of patients, x-rays, and death certificates. The patient files include applications, correspondence and some may also contain photographs and personal items.
Inscriptions and Marks
On the third page there is a stamp which reads "THE JEWISH LADIES' CONSUMPTIVE'S RELIEF SOCIETY, OF HARTFORD, CT." Below that is another stamp which reads "MARY NEWMAN, Sec'y, 231 Market Street."
