Letter to Dr. Spivak from H. Shapiro, 1908 November 18
Handwritten letter in ink to Dr. Spivak from H. Shapiro on letterhead that states, "NEW YORK LADIES' AUXILIARY OF THE JEWISH CONSUMPTIVE RELIEF SOCIETY OF DENVER" dated "Nov. 18th 1908" [sic]. The letter introduces 26 year old "without friends and poor" Morris Leon to Dr. Spivak and asks "if [Spivak] could help [M. Leon] by admitting him into the sanitorium as soon as possible... + the sooner he gets [into JCRS], the better chance he has to save himself" [sic]. The letter is signed by H. Shapiro.
