Overview

Typed letter to "Mr. Julius Guttman [Guttmann],...St. Louis Consumptives' Aid Society" from Dr. Spivak dated "July 27/10" [sic]. The letter is a response to J. Guttmann's letter, which suggested R. Kasriel be re-admitted to JCRS. Also, Dr. Spivak notes he "shall take pleasure in admitting [R. Kasriel] again...as soon as a vacancy [occurs]," and that J. Guttmann would ask "the Charities...to pay for [R. Kasriel's] transportation to and board in Denver" [sic]. Lastly, Spivak praises a "Mr. Seman [Philip L. Seaman]" who "organized a committee of St. Louisans...to take care of all patients sent from St. Louis," stating that other cities should follow their Seaman's example [sic]. The letter is not signed but Secretary is typed at the bottom.
