Letter to Dr. Spivak from J. Guttmann, 1910 July 07
Handwritten letter to "Dr C.D. Spivak [JCRS] Denver" from J. Guttmann on letterhead that states, "THE ST. LOUIS CONSUMPTIVES' AID SOCIETY...SAINT LOUIS, MO" dated "July 7th 1910" [sic]. The letter informs Dr. Spivak of the deterioration of R. Kasriel's health since leaving JCRS, and asks whether Kasriel would be cleared to re-apply to enter JCRS. J. Guttmann believes that the JCRS is R. Kasriel's "only refuge" and that "charities are willing to send him, + keep him up until admitted" into JCRS [sic]. Guttmann closes by asking Spivak to respond "at [his] earliest convenience so that I may get [R. Kasriel] off my hands" [sic]. The letter is signed J. Guttmann.
