Letter to Dr. Spivak from J. Guttmann, 1909 May 21
Handwritten letter to "Dr. C. D. Spivak...J.C.R.S. Denver Colo" from J. Guttmann on a typed letterhead that states, "THE ST. LOUIS CONSUMPTIVES' AID SOCIETY" dated "May 21. 1909" [sic]. The letter concerns R. Kasriel's case and whether he should stay in Denver or return to St. Louis. J. Guttmann asks that Dr. Spivak help to determine R. Kasriel's case; and that, if Spivak decides to send the patient to St. Louis, he should pre-pay R. Kasriel's railroad fare up to "$20 50/100 [$20.50]...+ please send the bill to the Charities + they'll refund that amount" [sic]. The letter is signed Julius Guttmann.
