Letter to J. Guttman [Guttmann] from Dr. Spivak, 1908 December 09
Typed letter to "Mr. Julius Guttman [Guttmann]...[JCRS]...St. Louis, Mo" from Dr. Spivak dated "Dec. 9, 1908" [sic]. The letter responds to multiple concerns of J. Guttmann's letters regarding Emma Brown and Rubin Kasriel, amongst other concerns. Frist, Spivak notes he has "a letter from you [based on] the bequest left by Henry Berger;" second, Spivak notes he has "written to Harry Cohen, Esq., Attorney...to make out a paper giving you Power of Attorney;" third, Spivak on bequest of J. Guttmann, means to take care of R. Kasriel's "underwear [purchase] not to exceed $5.00" [sic]. Furthermore, the letter addresses E. Brown's case; stating that she is doing well in another hospital and that Spivak has attempted to visit E. Brown to no avail. Lastly, the letter offers apology for Spivak's delayed response. The letter is not signed but Secretary is typed at the bottom.
