Copy of Letter to Dr. Spivak from J. Barondess, 1909 August 05
Copy of typed letter to Dr. Spivak in Denver, CO from J. Barondess dated August 5th, 1909. The letter introuduces H. Schwartz to Dr. Spivak; and, includes two letters of reference from Dr. I. Ritter and Dr. [P.M.] Kurzweil also considering H. Schwartz. The letter lobbies for H. Schwartz's acceptance into the JCRS Sanatorium, noting that "Mr. User Marchus...of the Roumanian Verband, and Bernard Semel...of the [Galician and Bucovinaen Federation]...are very much in terested in [H. Schwartz]" [sic]. J. Barondess also informs Spivak that the Mt. [Horeb] Lodge, Order of Odd Fellow, No.319 has agreed to care for the Schwartz family while H. Schwartz seeks convalescence. By accepting H. Schwartz into the JCRS Sanatorium, J. Barondess says that Dr. Spivak would "greatly oblige the above named organizations" [sic]. The letter is not signed but Joseph Barondess is typed at the bottom.
