Abstract

Shelves on the right side of the photograph are filled with boxes and ledgers. There is desk on the left with two men standing near the desk. Behind them are a man and a woman seated at a table. On the left side, George Bercu stands between a man and a woman at desks. George Bercu founded the Chicago Hide, Fur and Wool House in Douglas, Wyoming.

The collection includes papers, records, correspondence, photographs, photograph albums, scrapbooks, newspapers and newspaper clippings, framed photographs, documents, quilts and needlework, Vaudeville costumes and instruments, books, and record albums.

Condition Report

The matting is fraying along the edges. There is a large tear in the matting that continues into the bottom of the photo. The photo is in good shape, but is scratched throughout. George Bercu founded the Chicago Hide, Fur, and Wool House.
