Letter from C.D. Spivak to Mr. I. Lieberman [D. Lieberman], Sec'y, 1908 September 9
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado, to Mr. I. Lieberman [D. Lieberman], Secretary of Fall River Lodge #355, O.B.A., in Fall River, Massachusetts. Letter states that enclosed find a certified copy of the death certificate of Mr. Meyer Kessler, who died in the Sanatorium on Aug. 19th. Letter states that also enclosed is a bill from the Beth Medrash Hagodal Cemetary Association for the funeral expenses amounting to $44.50. Found among the effects of Mr. Kessler was $4.05, from which amount was paid $1.50 for the death certificate, leaving $2.55 to apply on account of the funeral bill. This leaves a balance of $41.95 to be paid and requests remit of the same at their earliest convenience. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom. Below "Secretary" the letter also states that there was some clothing left and advises what to do with same.
