Letter states that in regards to Mr. Greenstein, who claims that he was recently discharged from the Sanatorium of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society and applied for assistance, will say that they have had a great deal of trouble from this man. Letter states that they have received a similar letter under the date of July 6th from Mr. B.A. Efroymon, Superintendent of The Jewish Federation of Indanapolis, and Mr. G.A. Berlinsky, Superintendent of the Federation of Jewish Charities of Louisville, in which cities Mr. Greenstein was plying his trade of schnoring. Spivak states that he has made a mistake in a moment of weakness and gave him a statement to the effect that he was an inmate of the Sanatorium, and that he was discharged from same, as he was free from all annoying symptoms and that he suffered occasionally from epileptic fits. This document he uses in traveling from city to city. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
