Letter to [M.] Ph. Ginzburg from Dr. Spivak, 1908 October 19
Typed letter to [M.] Ph. Ginzburg of The Daily Jewish Courier in Chicago from Dr. Spivak, dated October 19th, 1908. In the letter, Spivak explains his predicament: During the holidays, very few patients leave or enter the Sanatorium. Therefore, although Spivak would like to admit consumptive J. Carmel immediately upon his arrival in Denver, he will not be able to do so. Spivak is anxious to please Ginzburg; however, and will do his "very best to admit [Carmel] as soon after his arrival as it is only possible" [sic]. Spivak advises that Carmel come to Denver as soon as possible, fill out a JCRS application, and bring money for temporary board and lodging. The letter is not signed but Secretary is typed at the bottom.
