Typed letter to the Denver JCRS from S. Kahan in New York dated November 7, 1908. The letter explains that Lena Gottlieb from New York City has retained Kahan as her attorney to recover insurance from M. Gottlieb's death. The letter asks for an affidavit of the undertaker and a death certificate in order for Kahan to obtain the insurance, and states, "Any expenses which you may incur by reason of obtaining these certificates, you will please add to [Kahan's] bill." The letter is signed S.Kahan.
