Letter from C.D. Spivak to Mr. N. Blut, 1913 July 8
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Mr. N. Blut in Edgewater, Colorado regarding a recent vote by the Board of Trustees of JCRS. Spivak assures Blut that despite the board voting against giving him a salary as a Librarian at Isidore Hurwitz Library, it does not reflect their view of his work. Spivak explains that the board voted against providing Mr. N. Blut a salary because he was already receiving board and lodging valued at $40.00 which is comparable to the salary of a city librarian. He assures Blut that the board of trustees takes up all matters justly and fairly. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
