Letter from C.D. Spivak to Mr. Harry Zirn, 1909 January 7
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Mr. Harry Zirn in Brooklyn, New York informs that Spivak was informed by Mr. S. Bloomgarden of a letter from Mr. Harry Zirn in reference to Sam Ledgin. C.D. Spivak informs that at the present there is not an opening in the Sanatorium and there will not be any before March 1st, 1909. The institution has 52 applications on file waiting to be admitted. Informs that if Mr. Ledgin needs the high altitude of Colorado that he can come as soon as possible but he should be provided with sufficient funds for his board and lodging dure the time he waits for admittance to the Sanatorium. Implores that Ledgin not "commit the same error as many others do who come here penniless." Letter is unsigned.
