Letter from C.D. Spivak to A. Rosentreter, 1909 October 11
Typed letter from C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado to Rabbi A. Rosentrietter [Adolph Rosentreter] in St. Louis, Missouri, informs that Spivak obtained $250.00 which he will send to Rosentreter in the form of a draft of the bank made out to Ezy Shapiro and also $50.00 which the late Mr. Shapiro bequeathed to JCRS. Spivak enclosed funeral expenses amounting to $31.50 which he requests Mr. Ezy Shapiro pay to JCRS. Spivak also informs that an official receipt for the $50 donation will be sent to the parents in due time. Letter is unsigned but "Secretary" is typed at the bottom.
