Letter from Adolph Rosentreter, 1909 October 5
Typed letter from Adolph Rosentreter, Notary Public, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Letter informs that as the Notary Public, Adolph Rosentreter appeared Ezy Shapiro who declares on his oath that he is the brother of the deceased Harry Shapiro, whom had left Ezy Shapiro a deposit certificate for $300. Rosentreter informs that Ezy Shapiro declares that in accordance with a wish of Harry Shapiro $50 of this amount shall be paid to Dr. C.D. Spivak for the JCRS sanatorium. This affidavit countersigned by C.D. Spivak shall act as a receipt. "Ezy Shapiro" is typed at the bottom but there is no signature. Below that, is a typed note that reads "Sworn to and subscribed before me this 5th day of October, 1909, Adolph Rosentreter Notary Public, My term expires June 24, 1913" but is not signed by Rosentreter.
