Letter from Rosie Blumberg to C.D. Spivak, 1909 October 25
Handwritten letter in ink from Rosie Blumberg in Cincinnati, Ohio, to C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado, stating that it is very sad to hear about her deceased son. Her son, Sam Blumberg, had sent a telegram that morning, and that evening received a telegram from Spivak stating that her son had died. Sam Blumberg was saving some money to get himself back home to Ohio once he was discharged and strong enough. Rosie Blumberg is requesting to send her sons belongings to her home and the cash of $22.50 and check for $25.00. Rosie is hoping to know if her son said anything before he passed, when he died, and where. Letter is signed in ink "Mrs. Rosie Blumberg."
