Handwritten letter in black ink from Mrs. Harry Shaprio [Florence Shapiro], secretary of the New York Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society of Denver, in New York, New York to C.D. Spivak in Denver, Colorado informs that Mrs. Shapiro has just sent a letter to Miss Evelyn Lichtenstein at 2221 Downing Street in Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Shapiro assures that Evelyn Lichtenstein will bring said letter to Spivak upon applying for admission to the JCRS Sanatorium. Letter is signed by Mrs. Harry Shapiro.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
At the top right corner of the letter, "Miss L" is written and underlined in pencil. At the bottom of the letter, written in black ink is a note that reads "Is this formal enough - or have you special [illegible] to fill out?"
